Jia Qinglin on Tasks of CPPCC for 2011

| Beijing, March 7 (KCNA) -- Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), mentioned the tasks facing the Conference this year on March 3 when addressing the opening Fourth Session of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC. He underlined the need for the CPPCC to strengthen the guidance through education to lay a firm ideological and political foundation of the development of the socialist politics with Chinese characteristics. The CPPCC will devote wisdom and efforts to carrying out the 12th Five-Year Plan and conduct the work with the popular masses in an efficient way, he added. It will also put efforts into boosting the unity and friendship with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese and friendship with peoples of all countries, he stressed. |
