New Dam Building Method Developed

| Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- The construction of the Huichon Power Station in the northern part of the DPRK is progressing apace by dint of new construction methods. One of them is a method of prefab dam building. Non-reinforced prefabricated concrete parts of different shapes have been made for the dam project. This method makes it possible to build the dam at a high speed and in a simple way and ensure continuous concrete tamping, with less materials and manpower. |
