Meeting on Japan-DPRK Friendship Held in Tokyo
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- A meeting on the Japan-DPRK friendship took place in Tokyo on Feb. 24.

Present there were personages and members of Juche idea study organizations of Japan and the Japan-Korea Cultural Interchange Association. Officials of the Choson Sinbo Company were present there on invitation.

Jyun Shimizu, deputy chief director of the Japan-Korea Cultural Interchange Association, cited facts to expose the aggression committed by the Japanese imperialists against Korea. Japan "developed" at the sacrifice of Korea, he noted.

History and culture are made by people, he said, underlining the need to clearly know about the past history of Japan and push forward the process to improve the relations with the DPRK.

He went on to say: The Korean Peninsula was divided as the aftermath of Japan's colonial rule. If the U.S. blocks its reunification, the diplomatic policy to be pursued by the Japanese government is to oppose it.
