Weather Expected to Be Unfavorable for Farming
Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- The temperature of Korea this year is forecasted to be as usual or little lower than the average in spring and summer and little higher in autumn, said an agricultural expert.

Prof. and Dr. Sin Yong Gil, an academician of the Academy of Agricultural Science, told KCNA that the precipitation will stand little smaller than the average in spring and larger in summer and autumn.

A low temperature is expected in March and dry weather in April in most areas of the country, he said. Some areas will apparently have much rainfall in July and the east coastal areas will be affected by coolness in July and August.

He underscored the need for the agricultural sector to pay attention to the weather conditions in manuring and cultivating crops.
