Dredging Pothong River Starts
Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Dredging up Pothong River began Tuesday in Pyongyang as part of the measure to spruce it up.

Three convoys are made up of several dredgers, barges, etc.

They will dredge up and transfer hundreds of cubic meters of mud a day, removing mud and other sediments and ensuring quality of water.

An organic fertilizer factory using the mud as raw material is to be built with a view to contributing to increased grain production.

More convoys are expected to be organized to tackle dredging in the waterway of the Pothonggang Recreation Ground.
