S. Korean Prosecution Urged to Free Pro-reunification Activist
Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea in a commentary on Feb. 24 lashed out at the puppet prosecution for its unjust suppression of a pro-reunification activist.

The commentary said that the prosecution demanded a warrant of arrest for Yun Ki Jin, ex-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance of Youth and Students for Korea's Reunification, to be released after the expiration of his jail term.

The prosecution took the above-said action by invoking the "National Security Law" again, after describing Yun's letter as an enemy-benefiting one, it said, adding that it is prompted by the attempt to keep Yun in jail permanently.

The prosecution's action clearly revealed once again that the NSL is an evil law violating the freedom of thinking and conscience, it noted.

The party will exert all efforts to get Yun freed, the commentary declared.
