Anti-regime Struggle Launched in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The progressive political party and civic and social bodies held a rally judging the tyranny of the puppet authorities of south Korea. It was held in the plaza outside the Seoul municipal office on Feb. 25.

They included the Democratic Labor Party, the Solidarity for Social Progress and the Citizen's Solidarity for Democracy Society.

After the present authorities came to power, the south Koreans' employment became instable as the days go by and the common people found it harder and harder to make both ends meet, they said. The economic crisis is threatening the people like a time bomb, they deplored.

The tension between the south and the north of Korea run high as the authorities have only pressed for the policy for confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north to push the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the extremes, they said.

The people's mindset has gone beyond the tolerance limit, they said. They will never remain a passive on-looker to the prevailing situation caused by the tyranny of the "government" and the "Grand National Party", they added.

They appealed to all the progressive forces to get united to oust the present unpopular dictatorial regime and strive hard to build a new society.
