Foreign Papers Celebrate Kim Jong Il's Birthday
Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of different countries carried special write-ups in celebration of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The Feb. 17th issue of the British paper Independent Star carried special write-ups with a photo of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero, and a photo of Kim Jong Il giving field guidance to various units of the national economy.

The paper in an article elaborated on the fact that Kim Jong Il conducted energetic ideo-theoretical activities to enrich the Juche idea and set forth ideo-theoretical principles helpful to having proper understanding of the complicated international issues.

The Nepalese paper Nepal Weekly in its Feb. 15th issue carried a photo of Kim Jong Il with a feature article on how Kimjongilia came to being and on the facts that this immortal flower has been briskly cultivated across the world.

The Feb. 17th issue of the Brazilian paper Hora do Povo reported about colorful events held in the DPRK to celebrate the birthday of Kim Jong Il. It elaborated on the great vitality of his Songun politics.

The Feb. 15th issue of the Mongolian paper Odriin Sonin carried an article praising the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il who is conducting energetic activities for peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and national reunification under the banner of Songun.
