Iranian President Downplays UN Sanctions

| Tehran, February 23 (KCNA) -- The Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said the sanctions adopted by the UN Security Council against Iran in connection with its nuclear program are pointless. He said the sanctions may have caused prices to increase in a few cases, but they will decrease in the near future. Iran's economy is growing, he added. |
