Kim Jong Il Praised by Nepalese, Indian Papers
Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of Nepal and India carried special write-ups with photos of General Secretary Kim Jong Il in the run-up to his birthday, February 16.

The Feb. 9 issue of the Nepalese paper Majodur in an article titled "Single-minded Unity of the DPRK" said that the Korean people become a harmonious whole with their leader Kim Jong Il.

It said that they repose absolute trust in him and entrust their destiny and future upon him.

The Nepalese paper Arpan in its Feb. 10 issue carried an article under the title of "Prominent Ideo-theoretical Activities", saying:

Kim Jong Il turned the Workers' Party of Korea into a glorious party of President Kim Il Sung and the DPRK into an invincible socialist power and trained the Korean people to be a people strong in idea and faith.

The Feb. 10 and 11 issues of the Indian papers Defence and Humanity and Tourism Era carried articles praising Kim Jong Il as a world elder statesman and a tender-hearted father of the people.
