Will Left by Japanese Botanist
Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- "The flower named after Kim Jong Il, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, who would steer the new century, will spread to the whole earth in the near future".

This is the prophecy made by Snao Oohiro, who was representative member of the Kimjongilia Society in Japan.

He was fascinated by the noble virtues of leader Kim Jong Il while visiting the DPRK several times as an adherent to the Juche idea. He dedicated himself to spreading this flower among Japanese.

He let his members know about what world people said of the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il and conducted positive activities to help broad masses join the above-said society.

He gave publicity to Kimjongilia in various forms and methods and conducted brisk activities to distribute books on the biological character of the flower and methods of its cultivation.

He, his heart burning with the profound reverence for Kim Jong Il, asked his members to continue spreading Kimjongilia and publishing its bulletin before breathing his last.

Kimjongilia is widely cultivated not only in Japan but in various other countries.

The period since the appearance of an international body for propagating Kimjongilia with the formation of the Nordic Kimjongilia Association in Sweden in 1995 witnessed the inauguration of Kimjongilia greenhouses in many countries including China and Indonesia and the creation of a series of organizations for propagating it and supporters' bodies.
