The government and people of the DPRK appreciate that the 16th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the AU marked an important occasion in achieving the peace, security, great unity and integration of the region by the concerted efforts of Africans, the message said.

It reaffirmed the will to invariably boost the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with the AU and its member states.

It hoped that the AU would register success in its future work to achieve the security and political and economic integration of the continent through the unity of its member states thanks to the positive role of the President.
