Mines Alive with Drive for Great Surge
Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A high-pitched drive for a great surge is now under way at the mines in the Komdok area of the DPRK.

The Komdok Mining Complex carried out its January national economy plan at 100.2 percent and is now making uninterrupted innovations in February, too.

The Namphung Mine and other mines are introducing advanced mining methods after concentrating up-to-date equipment on large mining sites.

The Ryongyang Mine built more than ten new large mining sites. It worked out a scientific business strategy and is now successfully implementing it, trebling ore storing and processing capacity as compared with that in the past.

The Magnesia Clinker Branch Factory of the Taehung Youth Hero Mine developed a rational calcination method and successfully ensured the balance between the feeding of raw materials and fuel and their ejection, improving the quality of magnesia clinker and light burned magnesia.

The Paekbawi Mine is boosting the production of ores rich in content everyday by combining well open-cast mining with pit mining and increasing the speed of crushing.
