National Seminar on Kim Jong Il's Exploits Held
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A national seminar took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Tuesday to grasp the undying feats performed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Yong Jin, chairman of the Education Commission, Song Ja Rip, president of Kim Il Sung University and concurrently minister of Higher Education, and others.

The seminar heard five papers explaining in detail the feats Kim Jong Il performed in building a thriving socialist nation by leading the general offensive for improving the people's standard of living through his forced march for field guidance last year.

The speakers referred to the great leadership of Kim Jong Il who developed the WPK into an eternal party of President Kim Il Sung and into a promising invincible party and brought epoch-making changes to this land through his indefatigable forced march for field guidance.

They also explained the fact that he built a strong mainstay of a thriving nation by giving full play to the mental power of all servicepersons and people and leading a dynamic drive for Juche-orientation and performed immortal exploits in the development of Korean culture and arts.

They underlined the need for all the officials and working people to deeply grasp the feats Kim Jong Il has performed before the country and the revolution and wage a more dynamic general offensive to bring about a decisive turn in the improvement of the people's standard of living and the building of a thriving nation under the leadership of the WPK.
