Story of Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- It was one day in April, Juche 78 (1989) that President Kim Il Sung visited the lodging quarters where Rev. Mun Ik Hwan of south Korea was put up during his visit to Pyongyang.

The President sat face to face with Mun quite informally and heard his impressions of the north while having a talk with him. The President said with a firm resolve that the U.S. troops should be forced to quit south Korea and the country be reunified by the concerted efforts of the Koreans without fail and that Korea can never be reunified with the backing of a big country.

He added that he fully approved of whatever necessary for the reunification of the country and he had no idea of considering the work for national reunification as a delicate matter.

Walking the balcony of the lodging quarters with Mun arm in arm before parting with each other, the President stressed the need to reunify the country as soon as possible and hand the reunified country to posterity now that the old generation is replaced by a new one and the appearance of the mountains and rivers changes.

Fascinated by the President's extraordinary personality as a great man, broad-minded magnanimity, noble virtues and ardent love for the country and the nation, Rev. Mun looked up to him in reverence, overcome with emotion.
