Birthplace of Kim Jong Il Draws Endless Stream of Visitors
Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- The number of visitors to General Secretary Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the secret camp in Mt. Paektu is now on the steady increase these days.

Nearly six million soldiers of the Korean People's Army, people from all walks of life, school youth and children, overseas Koreans and foreigners have visited it over the last two decades since its opening to visitors.

The participants in the study tours march towards Jong Il Peak to learn from the spirit of devotedly defending the leader, the indomitable fighting spirit and the ardent patriotism cherished by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners.

Their programs include meetings to hear impressions of reminiscences by anti-Japanese guerrillas, meetings to hear poems and contests of marchers in singing revolutionary songs in chorus.
