Veterinary Hospital Appears at Central Zoo
Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A veterinary hospital made its appearance at the Central Zoo at the foot of picturesque Mt. Taesong in Pyongyang.

The hospital covering more than 2,000 square meters has rooms for operation and intensive medical care, sick wards, rooms for diagnosis and other rooms.

The hospital has portable ultrasonic wave examiners, life indicators, roentgens and other equipment for speedy and accurate diagnosis.

The anti-epizootic room has medical appliances for prevention vaccine inoculation, vaccine sprayers for disinfection of animal sheds and insect killing and coolers. The dispensary has various kinds of medicines for treatment of animal diseases including antibiotic medicine and vitamin.

The appearance of the veterinary hospital helps put the promotion of health of animals and their propagation and raising on a scientific basis and boost the Zoo's status as a world class zoo.
