S. Korean Authorities Urged to Come out for North-South Dialogue
Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- Kim Hyon Hwan, director of the Institute for the Study of Idea of Independence in the U.S., in a commentary on Jan. 21 urged the south Korean authorities to come out for north-south dialogue as early as possible.

The commentary recalled that the DPRK through a joint statement of the government, political parties and organizations and other measures proposed north-south dialogue for averting a war and achieving the country's reunification.

It said that the attempt of the south Korean authorities to stir up the war atmosphere for their stay in power does not work any longer.

If the south Korean authorities refuse to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration to the last, they will suffer a great disaster, warned the commentary.
