Increased Speed of Onward March for Great Surge Called for
Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- It is necessary for all service personnel and people to increase the speed of the onward march for a great surge at the maximum, loudly singing the song "Way of Victory" under the leadership of the great party.

This call is made by Rodong Sinmun Monday in an editorial for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung as a great event in human history and greeting the centenary of Kim Il Sung's Korea with fresh victory.

It goes on:

The song reverberating all over the country sounds like a thunderclap as it encourages all service personnel and people to win victories in sky-high spirit and a march calling on them to maximize the speed of their march for a great surge.

This song serves as a march for uninterrupted revolution for their final victory.

They are the dignified service personnel and people who have adorned the red flag of revolution unfurled in Mt. Paektu with victories only, making long journeys under the leadership of the President and the party.

Final victory entirely hinges on the on-going drive.

World shaking events including the Huichon speed with which a great leap forward is being made in different work sites and the miracle wrought in the reclamation of the Taegyedo tideland strikingly demonstrate the mental power of the Korean people who devotedly carry through the party policies in the spirit that when the great general Kim Jong Il is determined, they can do anything.

They can say that the DPRK has laid all the politico-ideological, military, economic and technological foundations for translating the long-cherished ideal of building a thriving nation into reality in all fields.

Only when they increase the speed of the onward march for a great surge, not slackening the present elated spirit, will they see the appearance of a thriving socialist nation of Juche, a land of bliss, where the desire of the President has come true. Then it will shed its rays all over the world.
