82,000 Take Part in March of 250-Mile Journey
Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- More than 82,000 school youth and children took part in the march of the 250-mile Journey for National Liberation in the new century.

January 22 this year marks 86 years since President Kim Il Sung started the journey.

Every year a great number of school youth and children make study tour of the course on this occasion through which they learn his immortal revolutionary exploits and train themselves ideologically, morally and physically.

The march has been traditionalized since 1975.

The number of marchers increased to thousands on the occasions of the 75th and 85th anniversaries of the journey and other major occasions.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of the President in Kaechon, Hyangsan, Kanggye, Phophyong and other places. They also visited revolutionary sites such as the Soson Hostel, Kanggye Inn and Phophyong Revolutionary Site.
