S. Korea-Japan Confab for Military Nexus Assailed
Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- The defense ministers of south Korea and Japan recently had a confab for boosting their military nexus. They agreed to discuss the conclusion of south Korea-Japan "agreement for logistic support".

This movement for military tie-up proves that the scheme for U.S.-Japan-south Korea military alliance has entered a very dangerous phase, said Minju Joson, one of the DPRK's major newspapers, Friday.

A news analyst of the paper further said:

It is well-known that the U.S. has long insisted on the establishment of the tripartite military alliance to realize its ambition for rule over whole Korea and the rest of Asia. Military alliance has already been built between the U.S. and south Korea and between the U.S. and Japan. It remains for the U.S. to press south Korea and Japan to form their military alliance.

In case south Korea and Japan establish the military alliance, there will be emergence of the U.S.-led triangular military alliance, which will evidently disturb peace and stability and increase war danger in the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity.

The south Korean authorities' scheme to form the military alliance with Japan is a treachery of offering a road for the Japanese reactionaries to stage reinvasion.

The south Korean authorities should clearly see the aspiration of the nation and stop at once the moves for military tie-up with Japan. They should also come out to the north-south dialogue at an early date, as demanded by the nation.
