S. Korea Urged to Accept DPRK's Proposal for Dialogue
Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Organizations of different countries issued statements on Jan. 10 in support of the joint statement made by the government, political parties and organizations of the DPRK.

The Finland-Korea Society in its statement noted that the joint statement clearly showed the firm will of the Korean people to ensure peace on the Korean Peninsula and realize the country's reunification at any cost.

The society fully supports Korea's peaceful reunification and will work hard to introduce the DPRK's cause of independent and peaceful reunification to the Finnish people, the statement stressed.

It strongly urged the south Korean authorities to unconditionally accept the DPRK's affirmative, peaceful and patriotic proposal for dialogue and negotiations and stop their war moves and confrontation policy against the DPRK at once.

The Indonesian Federation of Transport Workers Unions in its statement demanded that the south Korean authorities accept the DPRK's important proposal without delay and that the U.S. conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.

The federation fully supports all the proposals advanced by the DPRK to defend the country's sovereignty and prevent a war on the Korean Peninsula and expresses firm solidarity with the Korean people in their efforts for peaceful reunification of the peninsula, the statement added.
