S. Korea Accused of Working Hard to Tighten Military Nexus
Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress in south Korea in a statement on Jan. 11 accused the present "government" of working hard to tighten the military nexus with Japan watching for a chance to stage a comeback to Korea.

The statement recalled that south Korea held talks with Japan at which they agreed to boost the bilateral military cooperation for "taking a joint action against the north."

Japan can never become an object with which south Korea can cooperate as the former is openly revealing its ambition to grab Tok Islet and screwing up military tension in Northeast Asia, far from making apology and reparation for its past aggression, it held.

It urged the authorities to immediately halt the military cooperation with Japan, disturber of peace.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea in a commentary on Jan. 12 demanded the authorities halt the military tie-up with Japan.
