They stressed the need for the party members and other working people in the provinces to be staunch revolutionaries of the Songun era who display the spirit of safeguarding the leader at any cost and who are possessed of the spirit of national self-esteem, the spirit of self-reliance, love for future and the spirit of devotion.

They called for further developing the local industry and operating the light industrial factories at full capacity this year to mass-produce varieties of consumer goods.

They underlined the need to bring about a great leap forward in the grain production by thoroughly implementing the Party's policy on the agricultural revolution and, at the same time, hasten the construction of dwelling houses and roads and spruce up the streets, villages and worksites better in a hygienic and cultured manner.
