S. Korea Censured for Confrontation and War Moves
Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- Recently the Defense Ministry of south Korea issued a "whitepaper on defence" in which it stipulated that the "government and army in the north are the enemy of the south". Meanwhile the military bellicose forces conducted provocative naval firing exercises again in 23 spots of the East, West and South Seas of Korea with huge armed forces involved at the end of last year.

Commenting on the facts, a news analyst of Rodong Sinmun, a major newspaper of the DPRK, Tuesday says:

They are an open denial to the improvement of north-south relations and a vivid expression of the south Korean authorities' persistent design for invasion of the DPRK.

They are still running toward confrontation and war despite the protest of people at home and abroad. This is not a demonstration of the strong but a last-ditch effort of the weak.

Such behaviors show that they have already gone out of their mind and are preoccupied utterly by persecution mania.

The reality goes to prove that the south Korean bellicose forces are a dangerous group of traitors who might unhesitatingly provoke a war against the DPRK in a bid to prolong their remaining days.

They are advised to behave themselves, mindful that confrontation and war will bring earlier their own doom.

They will be held entirely accountable for the consequences to be entailed by their moves against the trend of times toward the improved north-south relations, peace and reunification.
