Russians to Mark Kim Jong Il's Birthday

| Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- The preparatory committee of Russian public circles was formed in Moscow on Dec. 28 last year to celebrate February 16 this year, the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. Vladimir Tolstikov, chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events of various forms including meeting, seminar, photo exhibition and film show. |
