DPRK's Anniversaries Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Meetings were held in Italy and Norway, a lecture in Sweden and round-table talks, photo exhibition and film show in Iran between Dec. 17 and 20 to mark the 19th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il as supreme commander of the Korean People's Army and the 93rd birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war hero.

Displayed at the exhibition were photos on the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.

The Korean film shown was "Reply of Korea."

Osvaldo Pesce, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Unified Communist Party of Italy, said that the politico-ideological position of the DPRK has been reinforced in every way and its military position has become as strong as an invulnerable fortress thanks to the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il.

Svend Haakon Jacobsen, chairman of the Communist Party of Norway, said that the recent events held in the Korean Peninsula proved once again the invincibility of the Songun politics. And he praised the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.

The immortal feats of Kim Jong Suk will always be remembered by the Korean and all other progressive people of the world, he added.

Eric Andersson, international secretary of the Communist Party of Sweden, said the DPRK would demonstrate its might as an invincible power under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting held in Norway.
