Kim Jong Suk's Life Devoted to Future of Revolution
Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- With the approach of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk's birth anniversary (December 24), the Korean people are recollecting her great life devoted to the future of revolution.

During the arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle, she was deeply concerned for the work of the Children's Corps, true to the intention of President Kim Il Sung to bring up children on revolutionary lines.

On the morning of a November day, Juche 21 (1932), she climbed a mountain together with members of the Children's Corps to enjoy the sunrise. She told them just as any organism in the world could never exist without the sun, the Children's Corps members could not live without the President.

She often told them about the beautiful scenes, abundant natural resources and brilliant culture of Korea, and the Korean people's struggle against aggressors, encouraging them to love the homeland and look forward to the future.

She also risked any danger for the security of children.

She did not hesitate to lure enemies away from children and throw herself into fire to save a child.

The members of the Children's Corps taught by her became fine revolutionaries and performed feats in the war for the liberation of the homeland.
