Puppet Authorities Urged to Stop Projects for Improving Four Rivers

| Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Catholic Priests' Council for Justice at a meeting in Seoul on December 13 demanded the puppet authorities stop at once the projects for improving four rivers. The organization accused the Lee Myung Bak "government" of destroying nature through the projects and driving peasants out of their cradles. Religionists have staged prayer meetings, candlelight actions, etc. in demand of a halt to the projects but the "government" and the "National Assembly" railroaded a budget for the projects on December 8, the organization deplored. It declared that it would intensify the actions for putting an end to the projects and forcing the treacherous "regime" to step down. |
