Wives of Foreign Diplomats Visit Silk Mill
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Women of embassies of different countries and missions of the international organizations visited the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill on Thursday on the occasion of her 93rd birth anniversary.

Being briefed on the fact that the workers of the mill are bringing about innovations in production, they looked round various production processes with keen interest.

At the end of the visit, Li Xuehui, cultural councilor of the Chinese embassy in Pyongyang, said that the mill is associated with the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk, adding that they worked heart and soul to provide the people with better clothes.

Veronica Cartaya Rodriguez, wife of the Cuban ambassador to the DPRK, hoped that the workers of the mill would effect a steady surge in the production through a high-pitched drive for bringing about a radical turn in the light industry.
