S. Korea's Moves to Increase Military Spending Slashed
Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea at the 107th rally for peace and disarmament in Seoul on Nov. 30 accused the puppet military authorities of their moves to increase the military spending.

The organization recalled that the Ministry of Defense shaped a military budget for 2011, bigger than this year's, and some days ago it submitted to the "National Assembly" a proposal for the additional allocation of hundreds of billions won as military spending.

Noting that the already worked out budget envisages spending a stupendous amount of funds for introducing WMDs, etc, the organization warned that the increased military spending would result in escalating the confrontation and tension on the Korean Peninsula.

It demanded the NA turn down the above-said proposal for additional military spending and radically cut down the budget.
