Talks between Choe Thae Bok and Wu Bangguo Held
Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- Talks between Choe Thae Bok, chairman of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, and Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, were held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Wednesday.

Present at the talks from the DPRK side were members of the delegation of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and Ji Jae Ryong, DPRK ambassador to China, and from the Chinese side a vice-chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the CNPC, Zhao Weizhu, deputy secretary general of the Standing Committee of the CNPC, Sun Wei, deputy secretary general of the Standing Committee of the CNPC who doubles as director of the Office of Chairman Wu Bangguo, and Zhang Zhijun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of further developing the exchange and cooperation between the two parliaments and a series of matters of mutual concern.

The talks took place in a friendly atmosphere.

On the same day, Wu Bangguo hosted a reception in honor of the delegation of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly.

Meanwhile, Choe Thae Bok met Chen Zhili, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the CNPC, in the Great Hall of the People and had a talk with him in a friendly atmosphere.
