The Conference of the WPK held in September was of great historic significance in that it provided a sure guarantee for more dynamically advancing the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of building a thriving socialist nation which has now entered a new stage of development.

The spirit of the conference calls for developing the WPK into an eternal party of President Kim Il Sung, implementing to the last his behests, successfully accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche that started in Mt. Paektu true to the monolithic leadership of Kim Jong Il and surely achieving the cause of building a thriving nation by remarkably increasing the militancy of the WPK and its leadership role.

The army and people of the DPRK are now full of great conviction and optimism about a hopeful future. The slogan "Let us defend with our very lives the Party Central Committee headed by great Comrade Kim Jong Il!" serves as the slogan of faith for all the people and servicepersons and a banner of their single-minded unity.

The conference once again strikingly demonstrated the true picture of the WPK as an experienced and tested political staff leading the revolution and construction to victory by increasing its leadership role as required by the developing reality.
