After the Nanhutou meeting (February 27-March 3, 1936), he planned to organize the ARF and found its organ in order to implement the strategic policy adopted at the meeting to expand the armed struggle into the homeland.

With preparations fully made for the publication of the revolutionary magazine, he launched it on December 1, Juche 25 (1936).

The periodical also served as the organ of the Party Committee of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) and a popular political magazine for all Koreans.

It carried editorials explaining the President's famous works, including the "Ten-point Programme of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland", to provide KPRA members and local people with a correct understanding of the character and mission of the Korean revolution, lay solid organizational and ideological foundations for party founding and strengthen the driving force of the revolution.

It, under the fixed title "News of Our Nation's Movement for the Country's Liberation", also regularly introduced the ARF's activities conducted throughout the country, playing a big role in rallying the local people in the anti-Japanese national united front.

Meanwhile, it paid close attention to arming the KPRA members and the Korean people with the spirit of patriotism and internationalism.

After the magazine was founded, the ARF began to be rapidly expanded.
