Meeting Held in Japan to Hear Report on IIJI's Visit to DPRK
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, on Nov. 20 to hear a report from the secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and his party who participated in the celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there were officials of the Japanese Gunma Society for Korean Studies, the Gunma Prefectural Council for Japan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity and the IIJI and masses.

Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the IIJI, said in his report that the WPK significantly marked its 65th founding anniversary amid the keen interest of the world progressive people.

He described the 65 years covered by the WPK steering the cause of independence under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea as a history of victory and glory which powerfully demonstrated the might of the single-minded unity of the leader, the party and the masses.

He stressed the need for the world progressive people ardently following the Juche idea to wage a dynamic struggle for the independence of their countries and the world full of conviction and optimism about victory under the uplifted banner of Juche.
