More than ten records were renewed in shooting, athletics, weightlifting and archery.

The April 25 Defence Sports Team broke the world record in women's team skeet shooting.

It also established new national records in men's team 50m 3-position rifle shooting and men's individual 50m running game target.

An athlete from the Kigwancha Sports Team vaulted 17 centimeters higher than the national record in women's pole vault.

New records were also set in women's over-75kg jerk and total, men's 94kg snatch and 105kg jerk.
