The joint statement pointed out that the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities spread the false assertion that the DPRK torpedoed the warship "Cheonan", linking the sinking case in the West Sea of Korea with it.

The U.S. and the pro-American Lee Myung Bak clique made up the "investigation team" with representatives of those countries following them to produce the fabricated unscientific "results of investigation", it noted, stressing that such action was intended to invent a pretext for aggression by branding the DPRK as the very one who caused the "torpedo attack".

The DPRK was not the only country that denied the story about sinking of warship "Cheonan" and the south Korean people and media of other countries including the U.S., too, termed the "final report on the 'Cheonan' case" announced by the south Korean authorities a false one, it said.

It stressed that the imperialist war maniacs can never evade the judgment of history and blame for the case.
