What Does Japan Seek through Its Trumpeting about "Threat"?
Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan at a recent parade of the Ground "Self-Defense Force" underscored the "necessity to get ready for effectively coping with various situations", making a hue and cry over "threats" from the DPRK and China.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

Lurking behind Japan's trumpeting about fictitious "threat" from someone is a dangerous ulterior intention to put further spurs to its moves to turn it into a military giant and launch reinvasion which it has long stepped up.

The recent outbursts let loose by the chief executive of Japan are no more than a continuation of his stereotyped ballyhooing about "threats."

As far as the issue of threats is concerned, the DPRK and other countries around Japan have the right to complain about threats.

Japan is chiefly to blame in every respect for the existing Cold War-style confrontation structure and the increasing threat in Northeast Asia.

By his call for "getting ready to effectively cope with various situations" the chief executive of Japan meant easing the "three principles of arms export." Japan's attempt to let its "Self-Defense Forces" have the same task capability as the U.S. Marines' can be interpreted as part of the above-said "preparations." The Japanese authorities are noisily trumpeting about "threats" from the DPRK and other countries around Japan in a bid to justify their dangerous moves to turn it into a military power and launch reinvasion.

No one in the world would be taken in by their noisy trumpeting about "threats".

This will only bring Japan's true colors as a dangerous aggression force and war state into bolder relief.
