Art Performance Given
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- A performance of the art squad of the Central Broadcasting Committee of Korea was given at the Mansudae Art Theatre Saturday to mark the 65th anniversary of the Korean Central Broadcasting.

It was enjoyed by senior state officials, the chairman of a friendly party, officials of public organizations, ministries and national institutions and those of party and administrative bodies in Pyongyang.

Put on the stage were colorful items such as poem and tale "The Three Commanders of Mt. Paektu and Broadcasting of Korea", chorus "Forty Million People Sing of the Leader", mixed quartette and chorus "Glory to Our Great Party" and narrative poem and song "We Sing of the Benevolent Embrace".

The performers made vivid representation of the great pride and happiness of announcers, journalists, editors and employees who uphold the cause of the Workers' Party of Korea and the leader with loyalty while firmly holding the writing pens and microphones of the revolution after growing up under the care of the peerlessly great persons.

Such items as singing in unison while beating drums "It Is Offensive", drama taken from real story "Chon Bok and Man Kil 'Fuse'" and witticism "Ttolttoli and Samnyo 'Let Us Focus'" gave deep impressions to the audience for reflection of spirit of the era.

The performance was acclaimed by the audience as it dealt with validity and vitality of the WPK's line on mass-based culture and performing activities and noble mental world of media persons of the Songun era who are displaying their honor as trumpeters sounding advance in building a thriving nation.
