National Art Exhibition Held
Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- A national art exhibition took place at Pyongyang Indoor Stadium to mark the recently held historic conference of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 65th WPK anniversary.

The art show brought together more than 400 fine art works featuring the undying feats President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il performed for founding and developing the party as well as the strong will of the Korean army and the people to be always faithful to the party.

Typical of them were a sculpture "The Great Leader Declaring Party Founding", a Korean painting "Dawn" and an oil painting "Great Events Brought to the Country by Leader Kim Jong Il".

Such works as Korean paintings "Looking Up to Sun" and "Application for Party Membership" provide a glimpse of the WPK's development.

A Korean painting "Military Post at Night" and an oil painting "At a Stroke" portray servicepersons and civilians displaying the revolutionary spirit in the building of a thriving nation under the uplifted banner of Songun.

Also put on display at the exhibition were art works showing the Huichon and Orangchon power stations now under construction.

The exhibition strikingly demonstrated the Korean people's will to successfully accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of the great party headed by Kim Jong Il.
