Choe Yong Rim Meets Chinese Vice-Premier
Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- Choe Yong Rim, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, who is on an unofficial working visit to the northeastern region of China, met and had a talk with Zhang Dejiang, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Communist Party of China and vice-premier of the State Council of China, in Changchun, Jilin Province on Nov. 3.

Present there were Vice-Premier Ro Tu Chol and other entourage of the DPRK premier and Sun Zhengcai, secretary of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the CPC, Wang Yulin, governor of the Jilin Provincial People's Government, Hu Zhengyue, assistant to the foreign minister, Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and others.

Zhang Dejiang said that the Chinese party and government warmly welcomed the visit of the DPRK premier and his party.

He noted that the traditional Sino-DPRK friendship provided by revolutionaries of the elder generation of the two countries is the wealth common to the two parties, governments and peoples.

The two countries significantly commemorated the 65th birthday of the WPK and the 60th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' entry into the Korean front, he said, stressing that steadfast is the stance of the Chinese party and government supporting the DPRK.

He expressed conviction that under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il the army and people of the DPRK would open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation through single-minded unity.

That day the government of China hosted a reception in honor of Choe and his party.
