Valuable Life of Ardent Revolutionary
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- November 4 is the 105th birth anniversary of Kim Hyong Gwon, an indomitable revolutionary fighter with firm faith and mental spirit.

His life was not long but it was characterized by infinite loyalty to the revolution, warm love for the country and people, indefatigable revolutionary spirit and strong will.

He, educated in a patriotic and revolutionary way by his family in Mangyongdae from his childhood, was strong in the sense of patriotism and high in national and class consciousness.

He became a member of the Paeksan Youth League, which was organized by President Kim Il Sung, and conducted energetic activities to expand it in vast areas adjacent to Mt. Paektu, including Fusong, Changbai, Linjiang and Antu.

He, in the face of danger, was actively engaged in implanting the anti-Japanese, patriotic idea into the heart of many young people and encouraged them to join in the league.

He also devotedly fought to attain arms from the enemy for a revolutionary armed unit formed by the President.

On order of the President, he led an armed group of the Korean Revolutionary Army to the homeland and conducted political and military activities to rally local people.

In particular, the gun reports given by him in Phabal-ri played a big role in inspiring the Korean people with confidence in the liberation of the country.

When he was arrested by the Japanese imperialists, he fully displayed the fortitude and stamina of an ardent patriot with boundless fidelity to the leader and firm faith in the revolution.
