Puppet Authorities' Unwarranted Suppression of Teachers Affiliated to Jongyojo under Fire
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- At least 3,700 representatives of schools affiliated to the Teachers Union of south Korea (Jongyojo) released a declaration on Oct. 28 denouncing the wrong action taken by the puppet ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

The declaration accused the ministry of working hard to implement as early as possible the disciplinary measures such as firing teachers affiliated to the union.

Recalling that the ministry is working hard to enforce an unwarranted measure as regards the matriculation despite the opposition of people of different circles, the declaration said that if this measure is put into force, it will spark off disorder and conflict at schools and increase the education fee, imposing a heavier burden on the students and their parents.

It demanded the ministry stop its unwarranted suppression of teachers affiliated to the union and roll back its biased educational policy.
