Lee Myung Bak Group's Dictatorship and Suppression Flayed
Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- The Students Committee of the Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration in south Korea issued a statement on Oct. 28 in connection with the lapse of 24 years since the joint sit-in strike of university students at Konguk University.

The statement recalled that students of all universities in Seoul and other places met at Konguk University on October 28, 1986 and staged a just action to condemn the U.S. for wire-pulling the May 18 Kwangju Massacre behind the scene and bring down the Chun Doo Hwan man-killing dictatorial regime.

The Chun Doo Hwan regime that perpetrated the May 18 Kwangju Massacre and the Lee Myung Bak regime which mercilessly suppressed the candlelight actions of people of different circles in 2008 are identical to each other in their true colors as man-killers and dictators to our surprise, the statement added.

It deplored that due to the dictatorial rule of the present regime, those who call for independence and reunification are branded as "pro-communists", just demonstration as "violence" and voice of justice as "assertion of unsavory elements creating social disorder" in south Korea.

It is the demand of all the south Korean people to judge the Lee Myung Bak regime keen on dictatorship and suppression, it said, stressing that the Lee Myung Bak group will never be pardoned as it is running wild to suppress the people and maintain the regime.
