GNP's Unpopular Action Flayed
Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea held a press conference on Oct. 26 to slap down the unpopular action of the "Grand National Party".

He accused the representative of the GNP of claiming at the "National Assembly" held on the same day that the party would deal with the budget for the project of improving the four large rivers till early December without fail while threatening the opposite party and the people.

His remarks are run through with arrogance and highhandedness as they mean that not a penny of the budget would be allocated for the sake of the people's living, he charged.

He said that there is no room whatsoever for the party to stay in the NA as it unilaterally defends the unpopular budget proposal submitted by the "government" and abandons parliamentary function by itself.

If the GNP persistently cries out for the budget, it would never get rid of the dishonor as an unpopular party serving big businesses, he warned.

The huge expenditure for the project rejected by the people would not be allowed at all, he noted, adding the Democratic Labor Party will struggle for blocking the passage of the budget through the NA.
