Police's Suppression Protested in S. Korea
Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- The Federation of Peasants Associations, the Solidarity for Progress and other civic and social organizations at various levels in south Korea protested against the puppet police's unwarranted suppression, according to the Oct. 8 issue of Kyunghyang Daily News of south Korea.

The organizations disclosed the fact that the police has constantly monitored internets of progressive organizations and pressurized them to cancel the articles which cast doubt about the "Cheonan" case and those related to the north on their homepages.

Moreover, the police forced the internets into deleting even the articles not related to the north, they said, deploring that they could hardly speak what they want in south Korea.

They demanded an immediate halt to such illegal acts of the police as suppressing the freedom of expression.
