Floral Tribute Paid to Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Servicepersons, working people of all strata and school youth and children visited the statue of the President on Mansu Hill.

Seen before the statue was a floral basket from Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the WPK, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Laid before the statue were floral baskets in the name of party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, bodies of science, education, culture and art, public health and media, industrial establishments, schools, etc.

A floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front was also placed.

The participants paid respects in profound reverence to the President, looking back on his brilliant exploits.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were also laid before the statues of the President in significant places of the city and local areas.
