DPRK Govt Gives Reception for Juche Idea Organizations
Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- The government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea hosted a reception at the Chongryu Restaurant on Saturday in honor of the delegations and delegates of organizations for the study of the Juche idea on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there on invitation were Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council, Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, and delegations and delegates of organizations for the study of the Juche idea in different countries and regions.

On hand were Yang Hyong Sop, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and vice-president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Ji Sung Chol, chairman of the Social Scientists Society of Korea, and officials concerned.

Yang Hyong Sop in his speech at the reception noted that the past 65 years covered by the WPK were shining annals in which the dignity and position of the country and the nation have exceptionally grown stronger and the might of Korean-style socialism was given into fullest play.

He extended thanks to followers of the Juche idea who have extended invariable support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle for socialist construction and national reunification through the brisk study and dissemination of the Juche idea.

Vishwanath in the speech stressed that thanks to the leadership of the distinguished leader the WPK won the victory in the past Fatherland Liberation War and built socialism centered on the popular masses by embodying the great Juche idea, adding that General Secretary Kim Jong Il's reelection as general secretary of the WPK at its conference was a remarkable event which instilled great faith and courage into the Korean people and the world revolutionary parties and progressives.
