Among them were Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council, a Peruvian delegation for the study of the Juche idea led by Marcelo Javie, a delegation of the Polish Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea headed by Jacek Poniewierski, the family of Zhang Weihua, a Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, and the family of Hu Zhenyi, a Chinese related to the anti－Japanese revolutionary struggle.

Also arriving was a delegation of the All-China Journalists Association led by Gao Juantang, chief of the Press Development Centre of the Jingji Ribao (Economic Daily).
