Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Show Opens
Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- A Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia show was opened with due ceremony at the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition here on Thursday to celebrate the 65th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Displayed in the venue of the show are potted Kimilsungias and Kimjongilias, the flowers of the sun, cultivated by armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions, overseas compatriots, diplomatic missions of various countries and missions of international organizations here, friendship and solidarity organizations and foreign figures with sincerity.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kang Nung Su, vice-premier, An Tong Chun, minister of Culture, a congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the 65th birthday of the WPK, officials of armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions, working people here and overseas compatriots.

Kim Pyong Hun, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of the Unions of Culture and Arts of Korea, said in his opening address that the show would mark a significant occasion in demonstrating the immense national pride and self-esteem of the army and people and overseas compatriots of the DPRK blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation and helping more keenly realize the profound reverence of all people for the peerlessly great men.
